Without letters, there are no words – without words, there is no connection.
Myth claims that magic cannot be taught. But through rituals, the process can be illustrated. Learning about materials and finding them is one thing but the outcome depends on whether one finds the right words – the ones that open the door.

 

My work begins with an intention, followed by a deep listening. Collecting, preparing, and assembling materials can be compared to casting spells. The result is physical, but the process is invisible – and it is within this that the essence of magic lies. The sculptures - residue of a magical act.
